What is a DTS?
A DTS is a school where you will learn to know God deeply AND at the same time you will discover your identity, value and destiny in Him.
The purpose of our life can be summarized by the motto: “To know God and make him known”. The DTS (Discipleship Training School) is all about developing this idea. This is a five month course (three months of practical teaching and two months hands-on outreach) that has been designed to help you grow in your life as a Christian and to equip you in evangelization. The schools in Madrid are bilingual, Spanish and English.
What will you learn?
In your DTS your faith will be increased, you will be able to experience and get to know other cultures during the course in national and international outreaches. It is an experience that undoubtedly changes your life.
Some of the topics you will study: How to study the Bible, Character & Nature of God, Hearing the voice of God, Worship, Intercession and Spiritual warfare, The Person & Work of Jesus, The Person & Work of Holy Spirit, Healthy Relationships, Biblical Christian Worldview, Biblical Model of Community Transformation, Voice for the Voiceless, Gifts, Calling & Destiny, Evangelism, 7 mind molders, God’s Heart for the Nations / Missions and many more themes.
Each week, lectures will be given by experienced and anointed teachers; these are well-known and recognized men and women of God. In addition to the lectures other activities include worship, intercession, small groups, fellowship, evangelism and creative workshops.
Where?
The Youth With A Mission Training Center in Madrid, located 30 minutes from the city center in Torrejón de Ardoz (Plaza Grande, 1, Poblado El Saucar).
The facilities have meeting rooms, a dining room, bedrooms (shared with 2 or 4 people) and everything necessary to host a school of this type.
During your stay you will form part of a lively community of YWAM staff and students from all over the world who live on campus.

The DTS in Madrid is registered with the Faculty of Christian Ministries of the international University of the Nations and is a requirement for pursuing any other YWAM courses offered by the UofN in the more than 80 countries where it operates.
