850€ half board (lodging and mid-day meal)
We recommend having five years of leadership experience in order to gain the most from the school. This course is ideal for base, national or ministry leaders, or people with similar experience in leadership.
Bilingual: Spanish and English
The emphasis of the LDC is on application – not simply gaining more information.
The LDC is an interactive learning experience, with a focus on mentoring and people-oriented leadership with time given to process the teaching together and for yourself. Our key value of shared leadership will be modelled throughout the course, along with other kinds of mentoring and small group application.
Our goal is for you to discover how God has shaped you as a leader and how he wants to develop you in the future. This understanding will provide you with keys to develop and mentor others.
Why attend an LDC?
It is an opportunity to:
- set aside time to focus on God away from your current responsibilities
- gain greater clarity about your gifting and calling
- see where you are in your growth as a leader
- acquire specific skills in leadership and mentoring
- learn team leadership and participatory leadership as they are modeled by the staff
- enjoy an environment for special encounters with God
Don’t miss this opportunity for a training sabbatical!
When was the last time you were a student in a YWAM training school? Make this the year you set aside time to receive some leadership input and enjoy six inspiring weeks interacting with other leaders.
Is the LDC for you?
Are you moving through transitions without difficulty? Are you understanding keys to deal with plateauing in your life? Are you clear about your future ministry? Are you aware of your strengths, gifts and weaknesses? Do you feel you need a fresh passion and new creativity in your leadership? Does your leadership have an emphasis on developing people? Are you investing in potential leaders on your base or team? Do you have mentoring relationships and a clear model for mentoring others?
If you answered “No” to any of these questions, why not pray about attending?
